Acoustic Enclosures are specially designed enclosed units for equipment that has a high reverberation and noise level. We have different acoustic enclosures for different kind of units which cater to the specific need. This could vary from a power plant to diesel generator to turbine enclosures. Each enclosure is designed according to the specific requirements of the type of unit with the focus being on acoustic level control.

The acoustic enclosure has been designed to reduce the noise emitted into the environment. The noise levels are according to the industrial application CPCB norms and as per ISO 14001 standards.

Room acoustics provide noise control with acoustic linings within the walls and ceiling. Accompaniments include acoustic door and soundproof glass. These materials weigh in around 48/64 96kg/m3 which confirms to IS 8183 and BS 476 Part II. The tissue fibers are laminated and covered with GI/AI with perforated sheets (45% perforation). The tiles are pre-coated with micro-perforated clip-in’s which also gives it an edge aesthetically. Air ventilation is also availed to provide maximum airflow to cool and prevent over-heating.

The noise test chamber is used for check the noise level. It is a quiet room and is used for a number of different purposes as well. The main functionality of a noise control booth is to eliminate the shop floor noise. The isolation of the noise test booth with acoustic material all around prevents the floor noise from penetrating the enclosure.

We, have a wide range of designs that are used for R&D labs that develop intricate products. These booths primarily function to provide an ambient zone that helps in the assessment of vibration and noise. This also helps in equipping the chamber for improved performances, serving to a high level of accuracies. They are quite useful in automotive, refrigeration and AC industry et al. The booth can also be custom designed to achieve ambient resolution up to 15dB (A). It provides proper fabrication with supply. Site installation can be availed with the quality test as per the requisite. Other industries where this can be used are electric motors, transformers, speaker testing, and compressor manufacturing units.

The silencers can be installed with catalysts or SCR systems if required by the client. The silencers are usually cylindrical in shape with a circular or oval opening. They are made of a variety of materials which depends to a large extent on the application.

There are two types of engine exhaust silencers which are as follows :

• Absorptive type silencer : The absorptive engine silencer has sound control levels between 15dB (A) to 25dB (A) (type SM15P and SM25P)
• Reactive type silencer : The reactive and wave phase shift has a noise control level of 30dB (A) to 50dB (A) (type SM30P, SM40P, SM50P)
